BMA Ergonomics: over 10 years of success for the Axia VDU chair
In 1996, BMA Ergonomics made the leap from biomedical consultancy to product manufacturer by developing the Axia professional VDU chair. This was launched two years later, after close collaboration with scientists, doctors and occupational health specialists. WeLL Design was responsible for the final design.
Correct support of the back and arms is essential to avoid static forces being exerted during seated work. The patented mechanical movement in Axia’s VDU chairs supports and relaxes the back, neck and arms in any position, whilst the user’s feet stay in contact with the floor at all times.
WeLL Design created the product’s timeless and highly distinctive look. We also develop the Axia logo, brand identity and house style.
