CSM: Apple Syrup pot – everyday art
After the success of our Crazy syrup pen , CSM asked WeLL Design to develop a new packaging concept for its latest product, apple syrup. The design, we were told, should be a modern classic to replace the traditional cardboard tub.
Stepping up to the challenge, we devised an appealing and instantly recognisable apple-shaped container. Incorporating a resealable hinged lid, the pot is made from a single piece of durable polypropylene. This means that it can be – and frequently is – reused to store paper clips, screws and other small items. The newspaper De Volkskrant has described the design as “everyday art”.
