WeLL Design boasts excellent facilities for innovation, design and realisation: “idea spaces” for creative thinking, studios for designers and engineers, a well-equipped modelling and prototyping workshop and laboratories to conduct function, durability and “first out of tools” tests, as well as the resources needed for assembly, test products and trial production runs.

WeLL Design is hoping to relocate soon to our new premises.

Coming from our current location dating from 1914 moving into a business location for 2009 and beyond. Naturally, we are using the principles of IFD (industrial, flexible and demountable) construction we developed jointly with BicqHome and MetzConsult to create the concept of 'Happy Living' and 'Happy Working'.

The initial project consists of five separate blocks, all based upon the same technology. One of these is being set up as a demonstration and test home, and so will be “passive”. A second will be used by our partners in the development, including Corus StarFrame and Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, to test new materials, products and technologies. The three remaining blocks are to house WeLL Design’s studio, prototyping workshop and laboratories.
