JUBILEE 5,000,000 DEFENDERS - designed by WeLL Design
AXA is proudly celebrating the production of the 5,000,000th DEFENDER bicycle ring lock by introducing a special 'Limited Edition'.
WeLL Design designed the DEFENDER in 2005 and worked together with AXA on the development of the DEFENDER. A part of technical engineering was done by WeLL Design. We were also involved in the intern project management at AXA to achieve new development.
The Defender has received the iF Design Award, the FietsRAI Innovation Award and nominations for the Volvo Sports Design Award and the for the Dutch Design Award.
It is one of many examples of products designed by WeLL Design that have great market potential, are sold in large numbers and have a long economical lifecycle.
