Investing in progress
Ageing baby boomers, “modern” diseases, increasing demand for care at home, staff shortages, the need for greater self-reliance, efficiency drives, cost savings, sustainability, concerns about the safety of medical equipment... Numerous factors are imposing new requirements upon virtually every product and service in the health marketplace. One answer is the creation of new private facilities, where patients and health professionals come first. And where user-friendliness, comfort and convenience are assured.
WeLL Design is concentrating considerable investment in the development of medical devices, health and care products, their environment and their use. Our strengths here are vision and concept development, user research, compiling specifications jointly with the client, industrial design with a feel for ease of use, safe operation and aesthetics, and the full technical development of products and systems to the point where they are ready for manufacture.
The next generation of medical equipment, instruments and disposables will require a fresh outlook on their design. One which takes into account the needs of all those who come into contact with them, from medical specialists and nurses “at the bedside” to hospital facilities departments. WeLL Design is facilitating the innovative processes needed to achieve this.
